Something I Felt Missing....

Well honestly, I'm never good at blogging. I don't know why. Maybe because sometimes I  never had a clue what to write and other times just being busy. Or I'm just thinking that my writing are just bullshit! Nobody going to read it. I really don't mind if people don't read it. Its not really important to them. But to me, writing is a process of expressing myself to myself. I sometimes find it is hard for me to understand myself. Didn't realise how is my feelings until I write it down and start to read them back then only to notice that I am a total wrecked.

Writing in a blog sometimes are interesting and other times are so damn boring. Its like drinking a cup of hot chocolate on a rainy day. Comforting . Yes I know. But wait till the rains never stop. You just keep on waiting the sun to shine so that you can play and have fun outside. Writing a blog would be boring to you if you DON'T HAVE:

1. Great ideas to write about.
(how do you write if you don't have ideas or interesting subjects? and trust me finding a subject to write about is not an easy task)

2. Follower to response to
(This might not sound important but..... It does create an interesting elements to your blog when people give feedbacks on your writing. That is one of the way to know how influential your writing to other people's life.

3. A life.
(One of the MOST IMPORTANT aspects when writing a blog. I do love to read other people's blog regarding their life, their passion, travel and great food recipes and tips. and most of these people looks like they have so much fun in their life. Sharing great moments with the readers sounds good but what if your life is just as boring as your same old routine everyday? and then what to write. definitely people won't be interested to read about your life.

But that is not the point. These whole conversation of me writing this post is not about how to write a good blog.

It is actually for me to expand my writing skills and to write some thoughts on my life and my surroundings. Deep down inside of me, I have been having feelings of emptiness in life that I can't express it or figure it out. Yes, it hurt sometimes to think about it. What medicine should I take if I don't even know what causes the pain?

Surely, its definitely not a sickness cause by virus or bacteria. I think its actually a heart type of sickness. It will ruin your heart if your don't figure it out soon. So, I am still finding some ways to cure the heart by making a few lists that I think my help my heart to be better, healthier and happier.

Life is A Journey....

They are things that we learn everyday. Each day is a journey... A new adventure. One that we face it either alone or with family and friends....

Mistakes in life are like rolling stone. You might roll as fast as you could without realizing it and just keep on rolling along the path that it leads you to. Sometimes, you don't even know where are you heading but one thing for sure you know it going to be a bumpy ride. But somehow after a while, you tend to lose control and hit a solid wall. Pieces of you will be flying around. Smashed into tiny bits.

Well, what is left? Nothing... Just piles of smashed stones.

But mistakes are to be learn. To help you built a better sculpture from the stones. That's why you learn better by doing mistakes.

I am currently reading a book called "The Happiness Project" by Gretchen Rubin. Its sort of like a diary of the author experimenting different technique and approach to a happier life in a year. While reading the book, it give me an idea to make a list. A list of lessons learned in life. Typical... Yup... I know. It maybe sounded cliche but there are things that might unexpectedly surprise you.  Well, I already have a few things to be on the list but its getting late. Maybe next time ......

An Article A Day

Tips On How To Save Money in College

  1. Books: Borrow them from the library instead of buying one. Buy books that you really need only if you are going to use it frequently and for long term use. Find second hand books will also cost you less money.
  2. Fashion: Don't chase trends. Wear clothes that comforts you and make you feel confident. Clothes that you don't wear any more- make a yard sale or send them to charity.

  7. Watching movie : Go to the cinema where your can use your student card to get discounts and if you're a women watch movie on ladies night. There discount for the ladies!
  8. Meal planning. A bit of meal planning reduces waste and maintains variety.

  10. Carpool. People do it for work. Why not for school?
  11. Walk. You're young and healthy. Or will be.
  12. Toss your extra coins from your pocket into a clear jar. In a month, see how it piles up.

Its Time to Meet Life

Apart from my daily routine of checking Facebook account and googling, I just started reading a book by my favourite author Cecelia Ahern called "The Time of My Life". Its a book about Lucy meet with her 'Life' after dealing with a lost job, a break up and had to move to a new downsize house. Well, she keeps on continue  saying her life is fine but obviously its not. (just started reading a few chapters only so not so much story to tell)

What is more important to say is that as I was reading the book, I keep on thinking about my life. How is my 'Life'? Is it a she or a he? Well, that's not very important at all. What is important is "what do I do with my life?". Apparently, as I realised I keep on doing the same thing each day and that not very good. The same unhealthy routine will cost me my quality lifetime. What did I do each day? Wake up every morning sometimes early sometimes late, do prayers, go to class, eat breakfast lunch dinner, googling, facebook, maybe a bit of reading and hanging out with friends. And that's all.

Dame. Nothing interesting about my life. Why should I care making it interesting or fun? Because Mai, you live your life just once. You can never go back in time and those time you waste just make you gain nothing. EMPTY. LOST.

So, to my Life, i have been writing a few lists of things that I want to do and rearrange my life. Just to make it profitable in this life and in the after life.

For starter,

1. Re plan my monthly account.
So that i would not have to ask my mom for money so many times. In a few months, I'm going to be 25, at that age people should be living on their own and not depending on their parents. But since I am still a student, its fine. Its just that I have to smartly plan my strategies.

2. Making a list of 'Things That I Want To Do' and what I want to achieve in life.
Things that I take for granted in everyday life. Little-little things like smiling, helping a friend or reading some weird facts in the internet to bigger things in life like donate blood and help reduce global warming. Something like that....

3. My everyday 'To Do List' & a Calender Plan
This 'To Do List' is for my everyday works that must be done. List that would avoid me from forgetting things.

4. 1 hour daily doing light reading on book/novel, a doodle a day and an article a day.

For extra ideas, this book also help giving a good point of view of what to do everyday so that you live a happier life :)

Finished Some Painting Let's Do Some Reading....

Title: 'Lady Garden'
Materials: Acrylic on canvas
Size: 16 inch x 20 inch
Date: January 2013

Wow, I managed to finished my artwork just in time before the month of February. That artwork took longer time that I expected. Way much, much longer time. I have to delayed finishing it for thousand of time just because I was easily carried away with the hectic enjoyment at home. Yes. Home. You know how is it at home.

Nevertheless, it finished with the help of my little brother giving the name for it! 'Lady Garden'. Not bad I guess. I don't know. I'm not good in giving names. That why he helped. Well, he insisted anyway. So now I do want to have some quality reading time for myself since I was so busy with my architectural works and assignments. I'm dying to read another one of Cecelia Ahern bestselling books. I decided to buy this one! 'Thanks for the Memories'. Hopefully, I'm going to love it just like I loved 'Where Rainbows End'.

I Have A Secret....

January's scent still smelling fresh,
Wishes upon wishes crossing over the mesh ,
Never too late for me to have this secret dream to fetch,
Hoping one day it will be a dream to hatch,

Oh lets hope all right,
For I will definitely work hard for all I might,
For the coming days I will fight,
Making me happy as the sun's shine its radiant light
Or like the glowing moon in the darkest night.

An artist,
A writer,
A dreamer,
Crying for those dreams to full in my hat
would make me smile like a Cheshire cat,

but yikes!
Tell none to all,
As they might think I am to fall,
Falling far off beyond my rightful call.

Beware now my friends,
For the rightful time will bloom,
Soon.

A Story or A Tale? You Choose

" Are story and tale the same?"

Story is "an account of incidents or events"
Tale is "a relation of a series of events or facts"

Not much different there.
But further on.

Story is also "the intrigue or plot of a narrative or dramatic work"
Tale is " an improper report of a private or confidential matter"

These closely related words diverge here, ......

Blaming Everything to Myself

But sometimes,
Its just the best thing to do at that time,
Its never about wining,
either or losing,

But sometimes,
Its just about finding more time,
In space where time can't be bargain,
Just because they are too afraid to walk along that wrong path again.

Something To Think About
